my family a while ago Peru calls me asking if I was okay, because just received a call from a stranger posing as me, saying I was in Lima airport, deported for falsifying money in Australia. And this guy knew almost everything about me. And then passed the phone to the police captain-know-what-fuck giving directions to my family to the rescue: sending a large sum of money to a particular individual through one of these agents. Well, my family is not naive, but in case it is sure to get.
Then I found that that approach was in vogue. Hey, that's what is imagination? Finally, the was not a major issue, but be alert.
And just to comment, apparently not counterfeit money here, maybe the plastic notes are not easy to copy because I have not really seen anyone with our typical stress held up by all sides to see if the picture is missing one eye.
