Holas! It's been a while since posting anything here, but back here to see who was not dead, and yes, occasionally I go out partying. Haha. last month turned a year in Australia, and to celebrate I took a group of friends, including Australians and other nationalities a Peruvian restaurant to celebrate and share the way the tastes and smells of Peru. The restaurant a bit pricey and exclusive, the kind you pay enough and you get a big dish but with little food, but it was decent and everyone liked. Among all we ask: Pisco Sour Chicken with Rice, Adobo de Chancho, Cau Cau, Chili Chicken, Spicy Seafood, Carapulcra, Seco de Cabrito to the Northern, Ceviche, Asada Leche, Dulce de Tres Leches and quince. All tested around a bit.
And I started to remember a year ago, all farewells with friends in all circles and ultimately the journey that lasted 20 hours or so. Quite tiring. Then came the months of struggling to find work. I moved 3 times, each time at cheaper places, and doing casual work to endure. Until I found employment after 5 months and almost on the verge of despair, but worth it because after a year of living here, I actually found what I wanted. A year is not enough to know everything about this country, but what I have seen so far is set quite the pace of life and mentality of the people I was looking for. Virtually everything I had said was true here. But certainly not this a perfect country, it's just that this is what I wanted. I know cases of people who did not adapt well or is not what they wanted, and they found better future back home. So before taking the big step of moving to another country, especially if it's so far, it is important to be fully convinced that this is what they want and not something to prove.
Perhaps the language is one of the strongest barriers. In my case it is greater problem, do not know much English because the truth is that I'm still learning but I always liked the language and more than a hindrance really enjoyed learning. It was my favorite course in school. 
How safe is Australia? Not the safest place in the world because another assault, and also enter the house when no one and take all, as elsewhere no? But it is at an acceptable level. I got rid of my 20 eyes that had in the neck, back, shoulders, all around my body. Culture whatever. People are more tolerant and less judgmental (or cucufato, one of my favorite words haha). Here the People do not go criticizing how you dress, how you behave, what you do, who you together, why this, why that. It is normal to see people dressed in some ways rather mixed, with half a rare fashion, but people do not care because they do not live in what people think or chismosería. Which I think is quite positive and I already adapted to walking around saying that if guy is fat, if it is flat, if it is thin, or too pale or too black or bald or wears huachafo, or if it looks gay or lesbian, or said so. And to me a bit irritated when people do it. I like the mentality has changed a bit. That said, if I can suck themselves scream ... Who was it?? It is normal to see people with tattoos, piercing, and other eccentricities working with clients, if even the police have more tattoos that the thief haha. The only other school children wear uniforms, but use short skirts girls in Peru nuns fainted. Ah, and here do military training in schools, which always found unnecessary and meaningless in every school in Peru. Australians are proud of their country but not patriotic level. In most jobs are going with casual clothes, unless you work to the client or when you get to visit a client. But you have to go with a tie every day. To go to the master you can go up in shorts and sandals. Here the look is not so important. You most value for your talents and knowledge. Wise not? is interesting that the curriculum is not put no date of birth, or sex, or country of birth, no photo, because here you value for your achievements. Here there is that there are certain races, sexes or ages for certain jobs. The other day I was reading an article in El Comercio that they were considering whether to hire blacks for certain jobs such as carrying coffins or make buttons or casinos goalkeeper was racist. Of course it is! What to expect? And here there are clubs where they reserve the right to refuse admission if you're of a certain race. That would be a total scandal, but of course that is common in Peru. But the fault lies not with the owners of the premises, but the people who attend those places that are white, pero acá la gente será blanca pero no tiene esos prejuicios. Acá la gente rica te conversa y es bien sencilla. Claro, también hay cierto nivel de racismo, creo que es algo natural no? Por más multicultural que sea Australia siempre ves que la mayoría tiende a juntarse con sus similares. Pero eso sí acá ni se te ocurra hacer comentarios racistas delante de la gente. Claro, a veces extraño ser el "chinito" del grupo, acá nadie me va a llamar así. Bueno, también que con tanto chino que hay por acá ya qué me van a llamar chino pues!
El tránsito me parece sumamente ordenado. Cuando los carros van a doblar a la derecha hacen su señal hacia la derecha. Igual for izquieda. They stop at red, green move, slow amber, give priority to pedestrians, and do not use the horn. Cars can not change lanes, much less drive in the middle of two lanes, or get up on the road. The other day here in Sydney I gave way to a girl in a ponytail but she insisted that I served first as according to her I had come first.
